Charlie is only interested in anomalies (and cuddles).  Same, same doesn’t do it for him (unless it’s cuddles – that’s different). Ten fingers aren’t enough…he’s only interested in the one with a ring on it. A chain isn’t enough, he’s only interested in the catch.  A small bowl of paper clips is only idyllic because he can pick out the white one, the green one, and the yellow one.  All the rest are the same and of no interest. Because of his penchant for anomaly, he’s constantly actively seeking it out and the speed with which he spots the difference is extraordinary.  If only he’d wipe his beak more often.

Charlie’s Comment: If you look for it, you’ll find it.  You have a tendency to see the things you are looking for and completely miss other interesting things. If you look for the bad stuff, you’ll miss the good.  If you look for the good stuff, you’ll miss most of the bad.  If you look for the anomalies, you make great, and interesting, discoveries.
